Rating: - One of the Best Live Concerts on DVD!!!
For Josh Groban fans you won't be disappointed. 20 songs to sing live and it actually keeps you awake during the whole concert. Mixes some fast up beat songs with some slow ones. Great Concert ending with the two most popular songs "You Raise Me Up" and "Awake" as encores. The CD doesnt have much to offer however, but the DVD is defiantly worth checking out. For those of you who doesnt like listening foreign language songs it might not be for you cause he has a couple in there. Rating: - Disappointing
Read great reviews on this, however, the majority of songs are not in English. Even if I was biligual, it sounds as though he is singing in at least 4 different languages. While I don't object to songs in different languages, I prefer not to have almost an entire CD of songs I can't understand other than the melody. Probably will not play it very often, or maybe I will give it to someone who wants it.
Rating: - Lackluster entry lacks good English pop songs
I really think Josh Groban is a talent and sings well. What a shame he is picking particularly bad songs and many of them, sorry, NOT sung in English. This man could have the appeal of Barbara Streisand or Neil Diamond or his contemporary, Celine Dion, and fiddles with South African twaddle and seemingly drug induced songs about falling, etc. The best song on the dvd is "You are Loved" and its not even featured on the accompanying cd. I LOVE THIS CD!!! Josh Groban is beyond amazing, and I simply never get tired of listening to him! I think the live recording adds something to the energy of his performance as well, so I recommend the live version.
