I purchased this unit because it is stylish, functional, and feature-laden. Among the features that I liked are the plentiful venting (bottom, interior shelves and back), center speaker drawer, and (optional) flat screen stand.
The top of the first unit I received was damaged. Rather than replace the entire console, the manufacturer sent me a replacement top (also damaged). The second replacement top appears to be undamaged, but when I removed the old top, I discovered additional, hidden damage. ALL of the vertical panels (there are five) are split to varying degrees.
