THIS SEEMS TO WORK REALLY WELL, SO FAR. IT IS FOR MY 2 1/2 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER. SHE IS TO YOUNG TO USE IT BY HERSELF BUT LOVES TO LISTEN TO HER CD'S AND DANCE TO THE MUSIC.

When I first got this boombox in the mail, I was thrilled. My daughter (who is 4) absolutely loved it. It's very cute and perfect size for a little one. However, within about three weeks the player just stopped playing cds. We believe there is some sort of problem with the eye. If you aren't going to use the cd player that much, I bet it would work great. But if you know you are going to use it quite a bit, I would look at something else.

I gave this to my kid so she can listen to her music while in her room. She loves it! It is easy to use, she is 4. I love how it looks also, so girly! My friend loved it so much, she went and bought her kid one!

My 4-year-old cannot get enough of this. She carries it everywhere, plays her CD's and dances. Good sound, good durability. CD player is easy to use. Perfect gift for any little princess.

I bought this radio/cd player for my 4 yr old daughter. Although she's not a "Barbie" fanatic, she loves the colour and the appearance of the radio. The barbie button that lights up on the top of the cd player is a nice touch too. The sound is a little on the "tinny" side, but still quite good, especially considering the small size and price of the boombox. Most surprising is the impressive sound clarity at higher volumes.
