Rating: - Well made and holds bread
No dents, no dings. The roll-top works smoothly and the box is heavy enough that it doesn't shift around when you move the lid. I wish it had some little non-slide feet on it for insurance against movement but those are easy enough to add. I would have given the box a 5 if it had feet. Very roomy inside with the curved lid set out enough that it doesn't really limit the available interior space.
Perhaps Cooking.com realized that packaging was a problem. Mine came double-boxed with a 1-2 inch layer of water-soluble packing peanuts on all sides of the inner box. A+ for the water ... Read More
Rating: - Larger than a bread box?
This bread box was a gift for my mother that has an antique stove that matches. Amazon and the bread box really made the holidays this year suprisingly easy.

This bread box is the 3rd one I have purchased in 5 years. The first 2 were hard to keep clean and were oversized in height. When you have a lot of bread to store, there is always toast on the menu. Where there is toast, there is butter. This low-profile brushed chrome box holds 2 full sized loaves of bread and leaves NO FINGERPRINTS like some of the stainless steel or glass front boxes. I also found this to be the most aesthetically appealing bread box since it coordinated with my toaster and coffee maker. So far, my bread likes its new home!
Rating: - Nice dented box
This is a nice breadbox espcially if you have a low space to hold it. Unfortunately it arrived with a slight dent. The packaging is not very good so it is very easy to have it arrive with a dent. I would not recommend it on this basis
