Amazon.com Review: Braun's Multiquick Professional improves on an appliance that's already highly convenient. With a 400-watt motor, this updated hand blender has increased power for faster and better results. A dial on the top of the handle allows you to select from five different blending speeds, giving you more control over the consistency of your purées. A turbo button on the front of the handle lets you immediately switch up to the highest blending speed. The hand-blender attachment has a unique blade that offers smoother and more even blending, making it ideal for puréeing fruit shakes, soups, or homemade baby food. In addition, the hand-blender shaft has an innovative antisplashing design that prevents food from splattering on your kitchen walls during blending. Other included attachments are a minifood processor with an antislip bottom for chopping foods such as herbs, onions, or meats and a whisk for whipping egg whites, cake batter, or cream. The set also comes with a tall lidded beaker that is a convenient shape for blending smoothies and for storing leftovers, and a wall holder for storage. The hand blender, chopper, whisk, and beaker are all dishwasher-safe, and the unit is covered by a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Rating: - I use it every day!
I won't go on and on about this because it appears everyone has, so just let me say YES! I use this almost every day, it's just the best kitchen appliance I have. More than anything I use the chopper and the whisk.
What is best to me about this product is 1) it is variable speed PLUS power burst (not just high and low), and 2) the parts detach in a way that they can be safely washed. I can't imagine that anyone would be sorry they purchased this.

A little expensive, but after buying and returning competitors mmodels, this is by far the best hand blender on the market.
Rating: - 400 watts is good - but 600 watts is better
This is the second of these products that i bought. Loved my first one I bought in Europe but it didn't work in the States so I bought my second one. The one from Europe is 600 Watts which gets the job done. And I prefer the stainless steel piece on the immersion tool but overall I use this for more things that I ever could have imagined... and recommend it highly over the other products like this. You can't go wrong.
Rating: - Smoothie King!! Well Built Yet Compact Enough for Travel
All around best blender out there. Key difference between this and a lot of other similar devices: 400 watts, compact size, and sturdy build. The solid design also makes it the easiest kitchen clean up I can imagine: Pop off the bottom half with the blade and run it under hot water in the sink - done in 10 seconds.
Traditional blenders have been a let down mainly because I can't travel with them and clean up is ridiculous.
We've found this thing can do everything we throw at it: raw food prep (yes with lots of nuts/pates etc. - it all works), smoothies while traveling ... Read More
Rating: - Hand Held Blenders, Braun, Great...But...
This is a non paid response to a product purchased from the Amazon.com site.
I purchased this replacement Braun, six weeks ago. The replacement Braun hand blender is 400 watt opposed to the replaced one, which was a 200 watt version. The 200 watt version replaced a less powered version too. I owned the 200 watt model two years. I blend 4 times a week, omelets and fruits. the two earlier versions were GREAT kitchen tools. Both earlier models were under powered. I fried the motor in the first one, via over usage. The second I ground the rubber to metal joining connector, within ... Read More
