This is a really nice knife... and beautiful. It is really sharp, but the handle is what sets it apart from my other knives. I have small hands, so some handles can be too big for me, but this handle's tapering shape seems like it would fit well for many hand sizes.

I only started learning to cook seriously this year and immediately bought new cookware and appliances. I ignored knives because I thought a knife is a knife is a knife. Boy was I wrong! I got this knife upon the recommendation of a friend to buy just one good knife to see the difference. After handling quite a few different knives, this one felt the most comfortable in my hand. I've only started cooking real food (translation: not ramen or mac and cheese) in the last 9-12 months, but I've bought quite a few knives, none of which I really liked, untill this beauty.
