LOVE THE FACT THAT IT HAS TEMPERATURE CONTROL AND LOOKS VERY NICE SITTING ON COUNTER

I've always liked Cuisinart products and use a few on a daily basis (microwave, breadmaker, toaster). I had high hopes for this mini deep fryer but after several frustrating frying sessions, I realized that its cute package was a smokescreen for a totally flawed appliance. The thermostat on mine was a disaster and it couldn't hold temperature even with a few tiny items added. The fried items were sodden with grease and were mostly inedible. Rating: - Excellent product, perfect for two
This little fryer is great for two people. It warms up quickly, and stays warm automatically, so I know I'm frying at the right temperature. It doesn't use too much oil, and it is easy to clean. Also, I am clumsy, so I love the magnetic plug in the back of the unit. It will just fall out of the fryer if the cord is tugged on, making frying safe even for me! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'd like if it was just a little big bigger.
Rating: - Pretty good piece of equipment for the price
Nothing big to report other than I would have given it 5 stars if the power cable was a bit more securely attached. They have a magnetic cable lock system that can drop the power cable off if you even touch it or move the item. I agree that safety in these things is paramount but the power cord attachment system they use if overkill if ever I saw it. I want it to come unplugged if I knock it over or even hit it hard, not come unplugged because I moved it one inch to get a better angle on the basket.
