i'm very happy with the notebook's performance, size, ease of use, and wireless connection. burning dvd's is a little slow, and it doesn't come with dvd burning software, but comes with a dvd +rw drive. i had a sony vaio, and this is a million times better.

Bought this laptop for school and have used it a week. I'm very happy overall with this product. The display is great with no dead pixels and a fairly even brightness. The Centrino processor works great and gets a strong signal. The following are the few minor cons with this system.
4200rpm drive is too slow. This thing chugs and chugs when trying to access data. For this price, 5400rpm should be standard. The cd-rom drive works fine, but when ripping music, I've experienced inconsistant speeds. Sometimes it'll read at 14x and other times it won't get over about 6x. I've also ... Read More
