I just got this product in the mail and i'm more than happy with it! I run a window's xp and it works very well.
The only cons i would say it has is that its a bit slow burning. I love the program that came with it, its a good organized program. It shipped in about a week or so, and the price is great too!
I would definently recommend it.

Purchased this device to rip 800 cd's in my cd collection. My Laptop only has a 24x burner and it would take forever to burn this collection. The Pioneer more than adequately burned the entire collection in half the time it would take for my laptop to do the same job! There were several negative comments I saw that were relevant to the Nero Software. I loaded the Nero Essentials CD and the software worked fine. Bottom line, when you try to burn a CD on this Pioneer drive, it will need the Nero Software and the Nero software works fine if you install it correctly. The Nero Software has its own media ...
