IN MOST CASES, REPLACING YOUR PROJECTION LAMP IS QUICK AND EASY. HOWEVER, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONSULT YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL FOR MORE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:
UNPLUG YOUR TV FROM YOUR POWER OUTLET
ALLOW THE LAMP TO COOL FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) HOUR BEFORE REPLACING IT
REMOVE THE LAMP UNIT COVER (USUALLY LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE TELEVISION)
UNSCREW THE LAMP HOUSING UNIT
REMOVE THE OLD LAMP HOUSING UNIT AND DISCARD
SCREW IN THE NEW LAMP HOUSING UNIT
PLACE THE COVER BACK ONTO YOUR TV UNIT
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB DIRECTLY WITH YOUR FINGERS.

Rating: - Worked Better Than the Original
I purchased this item looking to replace the manufacture bulb that burned out. When I received this bulb, I was happy to find that fit perfectly and without any issues. However, I was even happier once I tried the new bulb in my RCA big screen. IT WAS BRIGHTER! In the past, I had to use the brighter setting with my old bulb to see the picture during the day. Now I can use the life-saving setting and get the same brightness. I couldn't be happier!

After getting getting quotes of $400-$800 to replace the lamp in my RCA projection TV, I thought I would try to replace it myself. The lamp I purchased for $100 was shipped quickly and was easy to replace. The TV works perfectly and is getting a lot of use watching football games.
