I'm not exactly sure if I received a Philips brand s-video cable because the package was clearly opened; perhaps a customer return? In any case, it works and it was cheap so I'm not going to complain to Amazon but I'm disappointed in Amazon for sending me a package that had been opened.

Love this cable...and who can beat the price?!?!? Sound and video quality is great...not sure what the difference would be between this and other, more expensive cables, but I highly recommend this! Thanks, as always, Amazon!
