Well, this is a very cute and moderately functional cookbook stand. The rear piece that swings out and props the stand upright was somewhat crooked on mine, but it worked fine and looked very charming on the countertop with my cookbook in it and those adorable little dangling weights holding it open to my favorite paté recipe. My only real problem--and it's a big one for me--is the smell. - Very Good Cookbook Stand
This is a very good stand. It not only works well for cookbooks, both slim and fat, but for the 8-1/2 x 11 sheets that come off of my printer, as it is tall enough to accommodate them. I bought two stands from another source for Christmas presents at $20.00 more, and I regret this, as mine is better.
