This item is very easy to use. I move my Garmin GPS between a motorhome and two vehicles. It is strong enough to hold a large GPS mean't for motorhomes and tractor trailers in a steady position.

While the product description says that it is compatible with the Garmin C340, it is the wrong shape and does not work.
Amazon was great in accepting the return and refunding my money.

I purchased this at point of sale when I purchased the street pilot because the product description said it was compatible. IT IS NOT!! BUt let's face it, an $11 item retun minus shipping fees, is it worth the hassle?

If you want to use this with the C3X0 series, you have to buy one of these - 010-10613-00 to get the cradle and cord (see my review there for more details). I have the C340 and purchased a couple of these along with the dashmount and now have a very flexible, cost effective mounting system.
If you have multiple vehicles and don't like the suction mount, this is a great option - it is a permanent solution and has the smallest footprint.
