Set its control when a room reaches the desired humidity level and the device maintains that level by restarting when the humidity falls below the setting. Three fan speeds provide additional control; at low speed, the humidifier is bedroom-quiet. This model evaporates about 4.2 gallons of water in 24 hours at high speed. Two 2-gallon plastic bottles fit into the humidifier and permit water-level monitoring. They're virtually indestructible, spillproof, and leakproof, and have wide-mouth spouts and flat backs for easy filling. The humidifier's 2 wicks are treated to inhibit bacteria growth and need to be replaced every 60 to 90 days. Rating: - Vornado filters-do not buy-it's a BIG MESS
The Vornado works sensationally for the first 2 or 3 days. Then the filter paper dries up and accumulates water contaminants. Even with filtered water the filter'S lifespan only increases to about 12 days. This means new filterS every 2 weeks which is approximately $... Plus the filter SMELLS BAD by this point as well as the humidified air.I have already spent $... in filter costs. It seems like a scam so that you can continue to keep spending lots of $$$$ on Vornado products. ...

i usually get nose bleeds in the winterbecause my house is so dry from the heat.This product i just wonderful my nose no longer bleeds and my skin no long dry.Now i can sleep with no problem breathing it is just great.
