This particular version of Spry gum is actually dangerous to anyone who is allergic to Cinnamon Oil. It contains a lot of Cinnamon Oil, which caused a major allergic reaction in my mouth and throat. My gums, tongue, and cheeks were swollen up for ~36 hours. It was scary because my throat almost closed up completely making it difficult to breathe. This happened on two separate occasions about one week apart. I had to toss the gum in the trash.

This is by far the best gum on the market! Spry utilizes Xylitol, a sugar-alcohol that has no carbohydrate action, yet bacteria ingest the Xylitol and cannot metabolize it, thus starving the bacteria! I have not been someone who liked gum very much, but my dentist recommended xylitol products. I bought several of these and have been enjoying them thoroughly throughout the day. It is very flavorful gum that chews well. Let's hope it helps the gums too!
