Recommended for rooms up to 310 square feet, the cleaner has three speeds for different-size rooms and a dirty-filter indicator. The HEPA filter lasts two to four years, the prefilter three months. Rating: - Broke after one day
I read the reviews and decided this was the best purifier for the price, received it in two days, hooked it up and it stopped working overnight. Not worth the headache.
Rating: - Refurbished unit was just fine for me.
Refurbished unit just as good as brand new. Same 5 yr warranty as new. Package arrived in just 2 days. Have it on in the bedroom, can watch televison with the AQS25 unit on, no problem. Saved about [money] bucks and used savings on something else.

I am a big admirer of Vornado products. We have many of their fans and have gotten years of great service out of their products.
I thought I would try their air purifier since I was so happy with their other products. I especially like the fact that their products are made in the USA and they offer great warranty service.
After a long wait, the purifier arrived. It set up quickly but I was a little surprised at how flimsy the case was. It opened with the smallest touch. Rubberbands are used to keep the filter in place which didn't seem like a good idea since rubber ages so ... Read More
Rating: - Helps with allergies
As a year-round allergy sufferer, I have to say that the AQS25 is a lifesaver! It really does take all of the dust, pollen, etc. out of the air. Just check out the filter after a few weeks and you will know it works :)
Rating: - The best of the Vornado HEPA filters
I just purchased all three Vornado HEPA filters: the AQS15, 25, and 35. The AQS15 is way too loud, but I can find no fault with either the AQS25 or AQS35. Nice design, *very* quiet operation. Unlike other HEPA air filter machines, this one is easy to clean and maintain. If I ever need another HEPA filter, I would not hesitate to buy this machine again.
Of the three Vornado HEPA filters, the AQS25 is the most quiet. On the lowest setting, it is barely audible. It is just a little smaller than the biggest Vornado, the AQS35, but it is much less expensive. I think that makes it the best ... Read More
