Rating: - My picky eater will eat anything with these!
I have a four year old, whose entire diet, if he had his way, would consist of chicken nuggets (what part of a chicken is that anyway??). He will eat anything I give him, as long as he can use his 'topsticks'. He even wants bread cut up tiny, so he can eat each bite. He struggles with macaroni, but manages to do it. They are well made, really smooth, and easy to clean. I wash mine by hand, because I don't want to wash the animals off the handle. I haven't noticed any staining on them, and he has eaten spaghetti, so I think they are pretty stain resistant, too. BIG thumbs up from this mommy!
Rating: - Cheater Chops
The kids like them. I doubt that they could really help anyone learn to use real chopsticks because the technique for holding real ones is much different than the fakes. Small kids might find it difficult to squeeze the chops together, but the grips on the sticks make food easy to pick up if they can squeeze them together. Each one has a different animal on it so the kids will be able to tell their own from someone else's. They clean easily in the dishwasher or by hand. My husband STILL won't use chopsticks!

They have cute designs on them and are dishwasher safe.
It only cost me 5$ for a set of 4 and they're very easy to eat with once you get the hang of it.

I bought these because I always wanted to learn to use chopsticks and I had seen a review on a different type on t.v. I decided to buy these instead and I am glad I did. When I took the manual dexterity test in high school (many decades ago) I was told that chimpanzees did better on it than I did. That may be true, but they can't do any better with these chopsticks than I can. I can eat everything including cole slaw and pudding with these fun things and I love them.
