I got this album for my 18 year old daughter. She is a big fan of Idina ever since she saw Wicked. Needless to say she was not disapointed. May I point out that this is one album that I ask her to crank up whenever she plays it!!

After hearing so much about Idina and her newly anticipated album, "I Stand", I knew I had to have the cd. So I just have to say I was not disappointed. Idina's voice is amazing and hard to beat. Each song is different on it's own but put together on the album, a perfect fit. There is something on this album for everyone!

I had not heard her music until I listened to her cd. There are three songs that I really enjoy-I Stand, Gorgeous, and My Own Worst Enemy. I Stand is my favorite-cannot get it out of my mind... I am reminded of Shania Twain-different, not as danceable, but just as strong. The more I listen to the cd, the more I like it. I LOVE THIS ALBUM. I PLAY IT EVERY DAY AND I CAN NOT GET ENOUGH OF IT. SHE IS SUCH A STRONG SINGER AND ALL THE SONGS ARE POSITIVE, AND YOU REALLY FEEL SHE IS TALKING TO YOU. I FELT STRONGER AFTER LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM THE FIRST TIME. AND WHEN I AM FEELING DOWN I PUT IT ON AND ALL IS WELL. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE MORE GREAT WORK FROM HER.

I first became aware of Idina Menzel for her performance in Rent, which showcased her skills as an actress and her powerful vocal range.
I Stand is an engaging album. Menzel sings about courage, self-acceptance & taking a chance on love with a passionate voice. Worth repeated listening.
