This blade is, as far as I can tell, exactly like the old one I replaced, which lasted me 20 years. It works well, and the gasket fits better than the one I had. It was just what I needed, and it's nice to be able to buy just the part you need instead of a whole new blender.

This blade does what it is supposed to do, in that if you put ice cubes that are not too big (I use cubes from the ice maker in the refrigerator), then this thing will crush the ice very well. I don't need to add any water to make this happen. However, if you are looking to be able to make a larger size of crushed ice, then this may not work. Rating: - Works great, needs thorough cleaning before use
Agree with another user that item has oil on it. I had to wipe it off and then put warm water and soap in the blender to clean it completly. Blade works great, but it should not leave the factory looking and smelling like a petroleum product.

GOOD BLADE, RESURRECTED AN OLD BLENDER! But, box was crumpled and in another language. Not manufactured by an American company! It did make me a nice frozen drink the first time around.
