Product Description: The MIXXO by Bosch, launched in partnership with celebrity chef Todd English as part of his popular Todd English Collection, is a revolutionary handheld blender that prepares scrumptious sauces and refreshing drinks without the hassle of a cord or plug. The Mixxo is the first cordless hand-held immersion blender in the world to use Lithium ion batteries. Lithium batteries are lighter in weight and smaller in design than the other types. They do not suffer from the memory effect and the battery lifespan remains relatively unaffected even if kept plugged in after they have been fully charged. Other rechargeable batteries may degrade in these circumstances. Lithium ion batteries provide sufficient power for all mixing/blending needs in the kitchen, including ice-crushing capability and also deliver constant power for up to 20 minutes. An LED charge level indicator gives feedback at any time about the remaining energy reserves. A two-button safety switch system is part of the ergonomic soft-touch handle. The detachable, dishwasher safe, stainless steel blender foot offers an anti-splash design. The kit includes a chopper, a wall or table charging station, and a mixing container.

I burned up the motor on two (2) BRAUN handheld mixer/chopper making just
a simple humus. Braun may make some good products but I shall never purchase anything else from that maker. My BOSCH is powerful/a real workhorse and I thrilled to have it.

Since I cater part time. I often have to have use of a blender/mixer/chopper and this Mixxo proved perfect to use, especially at an outdoor event.. I had the chance to use this machine for the first time on the 4th of July and it was great since we where outside I thought this would be the perfect time to put this to the test since it's cordless, and I wouldn't have to miss out on any of the activities by leaving the party and going inside to have use of the electricity. When i went to use the Mixxo for the first time, I was not sure how I would like it. I have had hand mixers before and they never live up to their hype. I know BOSCH makes quality products so I decided to give this a try. The first thing I attempted to make with my new Mixxo was a smoothie. I read that the foot can crush ice, so I figured that it would be able to blend up frozen fruit. I used the blender jug attachment piece and added my ingredients, I then attached the foot and turned the Mixxo on.
