I had been searching for a Butter Keeper for some time. All of the ones I looked at had shapes unlike the stick butter you normally buy. The Silvermark is very high quality and a regular stick of butter fits in the unit exactly. The one critique keeping this unit from being perfect is that it is a little harder to get a pat of butter out of the unit than expected. Overall it does a great job of keeping the butter firm and fresh and I am happy with its performance.

I bought mine years ago from QVC and I did not expect to Love something so much. But this butter boat was great. How nice to be able to keep butter out and able to use at a moments notice. Now to my horror I broke mine and QVC does not sell them anymore. So glad I found these.

Butter Boat, Green & White
I bought a similar item on QVC a few years ago--gave it away, and it is not longer sold by QVC. I was ecstatic to find this on Amazon. I live in NC (hot, humid) and this works great. My butter was always soft, spreadable and never went bad. I am stocking up on these. I am so glad I found my butter boat again!!!!

THIS BUTTER BOAT KEEPS YOUR BUTTER SOFT FOR SPREADING, YET IT DOES NOT MELT. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT STAYS FRESH CAUSE I USE ALOT OF BUTTER. I LIVE IN SC AND IT GETS REAL HOT IN THE SUMMER RESULTING IN MELTED BUTTER WHEN I WAS USING MY PLAIN BUTTER DISH. I LOVE THIS BUTTER BOAT, I'M GONNA ORDER ANOTHER FOR BACK UP.
