Rating: - Review of Chicago Cutlery 14 slot knife block with sharpener
This product is as described, neatly holds steak knives on lower portion of block as well as multiple larger size knives. Built-in knife sharpener is terrific. Price was perfect.
Rating: - A nice block of wood
This is a well made, good looking knife block that will store 90 percent of your kitchen cutlery. However wide bladed choppers won't fit.
The built in knife sharpener is very convenient and does double duty a storage slot. I was also surprised to find a free high quality Chicago Cutlery paring knife in the package. A nice extra.
I will probably purchase their Signature kitchen scissors later. Of course there is a slot for them on the knife block.

I really like this. Just the right number and size of slots for my knife collection. The built-in sharpener is nice when you're in a hurry and can't hunt around for your stone.

we had lots of different size and kinds of knifes. we managed to fit all but one in this block. i can fit 2 pair of regular scissors in the big square hole, a long knife sharpener, a standard cerated bread knife, two butcher style knifes, your steak knifes, pairing and so on. the sharpener that is built in doesn't seem so great, i guess it works but not real well. for the price, it does its job.
