I bought this fryer a couple of days ago, and Im very pleased. I think it works great, it is better and smarter than any other fryer that you can find out there in the market. Now what we need is that people in the business get smarter and build better ones. Oh , well that's life. Buy yourself another. Enjoy it.

I always hated deep frying since it was such a mess. Emeril's deep fryer makes it easy. A vented lid releases steam but eliminates the oil splatter. The oil filtration/storage system is clean & easy to use. Just flip a level and let it drain. The whole thing breaks down and is dishwasher safe. Frying is simple. Just pick your frying temperature and it beeps when oil is ready, lower the basket and set the timer. Some people may not like the preset temperature selection, they would like to dial in their own but I found that it works for everything I use it for. A good buy.

It is pricey but the features were important to my wife, a safe and easy product to use and clean no complaints and she is happy with it I didnt tell her I bought it it just showed up at the door and fliped her out its a lot more than just a pot to fry in

We love this deep fryer, I bought this one because it had more power to keep it hot, more capacity to keep it hot. And it does a wonderful job. I love being able to store the oil so simply, I did have an overflow mess once but it was because the oil was a little warm. Just wait till it is cool and everything works great. A little common sense takes the blame off the manufacturer most of the time. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fryer after weeks of research and reading reviews I feel that you get what you pay for here.

Having used this deep fryer for several weeks now I can attest to the validity of the other positive reviews. And, no overflow spillage, which I think some others in their reviews mentioned, and was strictly a mistake made on their part by overfilling with oil. The catch container for the oil is really a nifty idea, no more transferring oil after using to a seperate container. Clean, efficient and easy.
