Vornado fans are the best fans on the market in my opinion. The only other brand I like and only for decorative purposes is Hunter. Vornado fans are quiet and last forever. They run so smoothly that you can hardly hear them. They are great for keeping the air moving in a large room. The first one we owned was given to us and that was over ten years ago and that thing still runs just as quietly and efficiently as the day we aquired it. I now have four Vornados.
