When sterilization is complete, the plastic-coated jar lifter clutches jars tightly in its tongs and lifts them out of hot water without risk of slippage or burning while the magnetized vinyl-coated jar lifter safely removes the lids. Rating: - Canning Rack Rusted
The Fagor "made in China" canning rack rusted the second time I used it and left a rust stain in the bottom of my Fagor Canner. While, I did get the stain out, it looks like the rack is of very poor quality and I do not recommend it.

A good selection of canning supplies are included in this kit. Included is a manual for canning specific fruits and vegetables however the directions are specific to a pressure canner that measures the pressure settings as low, medium, or high instead of the specific amount of pressure required.
