I like the bags because you don't have to measure and cut, and only have to seal one side. I don't like to do anything in the kitchen, so anything that saves time and effort is for me. You pay more for bags than rolls, but your time is worth something, too. The pint bag is the one I use most for my husband and me, but I use some quart-size, too. I have two sealers, a standard size which I seldom use, and an old short one which lives on the back of the counter taking up very little space. I love to have this size on hand. My husband is on Atkins and I like to put his individual steaks in these bags. Then I can just grab one steak out of the freezer for him.

These bags are terrific for freezing small portions of food. I use them for single size portions of prepared meals. They are great when you cook a large meal and split it into smaller portions. It's handy to just grab a meal and reheat it for dinner after a busy day. Great time saver and "food saver".
