I am extremely disappointed in this product. I had a GE Microwave for 15 years and NEVER had a problem or replaced a part. After 15 years, it just decided not to work anymore. Rather than fixing it, I threw it out and decided it was time for a new one. I wish I would have fixed my old one! I ordered this brand new GE microwave. I received it the end of July. We went on vacation for 2 weeks in August. At the end of August, it stopped heating. We might have used it for 2 weeks! Unbelievable! I got this microwave with my new home. It lasted a little over 2 years and one morning it just wouldn't heat. It seems to be the magnetron and it cost 80.00 to get GE to come to the house to evaluate it then at least another 150 to fix even tho the magnetron is under warrantee for 9 years. Much cheaper to replace but I have to buy one that fits in my trim kit that cost 150.00. Don't want to have to buy another one of those too. Prior to not working, it was GREAT. I loved it. Was very surprized that it quit.
