Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Used properly for a couple of months & now paint is coming off!
I thought these were awesome for the price as they seem to cook well as long as you preheat and season (able to even cook eggs fine). But after using them for a month and a half or so the paint is coming off (we never use soap just warm water and a wash cloth or soft scrubber to clean). The reason we went to cast iron was for the health benefits but now I have to wonder??? I plan to purchase a Lodge pan as they seem to have very good reviews.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - New family heirloom
I bought this 3-pack iron skillet set at a discount store years ago for $15 after my sister had gone on about how great her new cast iron pan was. Curious, I thought "they're so cheap, why not try?" At the time I had many really fancy non-stick pans, anodized aluminum pans, stainless steel pans; you name it. Well, I still have those pans, but now they sit in the cupboard while the cast iron pans have gained a permanent place atop my stove. The cast iron pans are *that* fantastic. At first, I thought I didn't like them, because while the set says they're pre-seasoned, it does take a bit more seasoning ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - So Much For High Tech
When I was a kid, My grandmother made great food on a coal stove in cast- iron pots. For 50 years I used pots coated with one miracle non-stick stuff or another and they all pealed and cracked. Now I spent a couple of dollars and am making food like grandma use to make without eating God-knows-what pealing from the pans. They are easy to take care of and if you pay attention, they are non-stick.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Cast Iron Skillet Set
This set is great! As can be expected, the largest is heavy and will give your wrist a workout if you are carrying it to the table, but for the price and given that they heat quickly and evenly and SHOULD last a long time, you can't go wrong!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - cheap, really cheap
You get what you pay for. These pans burn food, cannot be seasoned and are generally poor for any kind of cooking.
