Customer Reviews
Average Rating:
Rating: - Good item for the price
The fan is a very basic model.
Pros
- Easy to install and comes with a side panel to block the window opening
- Cheap
- Can be used for venting as well as getting air in
Cons
- A little noisy for the air that it pushes through (relatively low CFM for the noise level)
- Twin fans cannot be controlled independently
- Venting or getting air in is controlled manually by reversing the fan.
Rating: - Best choice for your money's worth
Holmes 7 Twin Window exhaust fan is exactly what I had imagined for a $16.99 fan. Simple functions and compact size that fits my window. The noise may be a little loud and 3 feet wire may be a little short. Most houses don't have outlets near windows so extension cords may be a must have accessory. The bottom line is, it is the most inexpensive fan I can find that fits my window and it does the job.
Rating: - It is what it is
The fans work well, I should have read through more though, a fan with the ability to pull air in as well as push it out without having to take the fan out of the window and turn it around would be better. It's a good fan for the price though
Rating: - Item not as described
This does not have a reverseable motor, nor does it have individual controls for each fan.
Rating: - Does what it says it will, and for the right price.
Bought this because it was the cheapest one I could find. Really, who needs a fan with a remote and a reversing motor and all that other stuff? Not me, and I'm betting most other people don't, but they buy it anyway for more money cause they haven't found this one yet.
Also, the motors are supposed to be water resistant, so you can leave it in the window while it's raining. I'd be more worried about my rug than the fan if it were raining with the window open.
