The contoured handles are formed of cushiony santoprene (instead of polypropylene like the regular Everedge series) that is backed with brushed stainless steel for added leverage and a sleek, contemporary look. Everedge Plus knives are well-suited to small hands and their light weight helps reduce tiredness when a large amount of food preparation is required. Made in countries other than Henckels' home base of Germany, International knives are nonetheless manufactured to strict quality standards and are covered by a lifetime warranty against defects. The cutlery is dishwasher-safe, yet is best cared for when washed and dried by hand.
