Rating: - Paper Towel Holder
This is an excellent product. Thus far, I have given one to 5 of our 6 children as gifts. The only reason I rated this one as a 3 is because it arrived damaged. It had a dent in the base and the rod that holds the towels was wobbly because of it.
Rating: - THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!
No other paper towel holder is better. I never thought I could be so impassioned about a paper towel holder, but this is exceptional.
Replacing paper towels is breeze- you don't have to remove any parts of holder, just slide the paper towel roll on and off. Done!
It looks good- Modern, simple and very aesthetic. No bulky metals or fancy designs to draw attention to your paper towels. Looks sleek and blends in beautifully with any decor.
Really does make a perfect tear- gentle clicking action secures the paper towel roll and helps regulate the speed ... Read More
Rating: - My 76 yr old mother says it's the best she's ever used
I gave this to my 76 year old mother, who was very skeptical about a freestanding towel holder being usable, especially with just one hand. She says it's the best towel holder she's ever had. I got oodles of best kid points!!!!

As with many other reviewers, I ordered this item and originally really liked the design and performance. While not exactly stunning in its quality or styling, it worked as advertised and was fairly handsome. For the first three months the ratcheting mechanism worked fine, but one fateful day I tried to grab a sheet of paper towel and the ratcheting mechanism seemed to seize up and something apparently broke internally. Now it's a toss-up at any given time whether the thing will be locked-up and won't spin at all (without fiddling), or will spin freely with no resistance at all. Disappointing. ... Read More
Rating: - Works great, easy to use
I first saw this at a friends house and was impressed with how easy it was to tear off a single sheet of paper towel. I don't have the best wall space to mount a holder, so I use a counter top towel holder dispenser. All the others I have used always seem to be a two handed operation in which you must pull a towel with one hand and use your other (usually wet!) hand to hold the roll so you can tear off a towel. This way it just takes one hand since there is enough tension to stop the roll from completely unraveling, but loose enough so it's still easy to pull. Great invention, wish I had thought ...
