Leaps and bounds above Le Creuset for quality, appearance, and most of all value. You can't go wrong with Lodge and now that these gorgeous enamel pieces are available and the price is so low, there isn't any excuse for not owing one of each. The heat distribution is even, you use a lower setting than with any other pot, it's beautiful, and inexpensive. A perfect piece of cookware. I love it.

Love my Lodge cookware!! Clean up is a breeze. Food cooks faster and the food stays hot in the pan. It's pretty enough to use as a serving dish.

WONDERFUL!!!! I truly love this braiser; it is in constant use in my kitchen. It's a bit heavy, but well worth it. It is a fraction of the cost of other braisers I've looked at. No matter if your frying meat, or making rice dishes...everything turns out spectacular! It cleans very easily with soap and water and a plastic scrub-brush. I highly recommend this item.

This pan heats so evenly and well that I'm able to cook at a much lower setting than with other pans. Clean-up is easy if you've used oil or cooking spray--just a little dish soap gets everything with no scrubbing necessary. The pan's capacity is just right for making a casserole or stew for six but it's not as deep as a traditional dutch oven. I handle with care around my ceramic cooktop because of the weight and because sliding the pan could cause scratches.
