We got this item for our special needs daughter who only eats dried fruits, it was costing a fortune to buy that stuff at the store..it has worked wonderful all the times we have already used it..a little hard to clean, but we would recommend it to anyone looking for one of these !!!

We have used this once so far. We have had dehydrators before. It works well for the money. Much quieter than our previous one. Lots of room/tiers for food. We also liked the multiple settings. Wish there were an on/off switch besides just taking the plug out of the wall.

OK, this is my first dehydrator so I can't compare this to other units but so far I'm truly impressed! I made my first batch of beef jerky in about four hours and it was delicious! I also made some chicken jerky for my boxer (one of the main reasons I got this unit) and it works great for that as well. I can't wait to try some new stuff!
