This is the best deep fryer I have ever used. Easy to clean, easy to use. I like that the pan can be removed. I purchased a large strainer and add a cheese cloth to strain the oil. It works perfectly. Products are aways crispy. Great for large families or for individual use. I have cooked fries, catfish, hushpuppies, chicken, calamari, shrimp with excellent results. I have used this daily for large quantities and am thoroughly satisfied with the way the fryer operates. Everything cooks uniformly, batch after batch, and the cleaning is relatively easy, considering that it is after all - cleaning. Seriously, this double fryer definitely does the job, day after day and keeps on working flawlessly, with no problems of any sort, except that I DO HAVE TO CLEAN THE DARN THING. Frier does what it advertises. I didn't have any problem with the temperature. Fries come crispy and delicious. The only con is that it doesn't come with a big basket, but you can always bought it from the Presto website.

We've tried out the deep fryer to make fish and chips, and our meal was great! It is a chore to clean up though, but that is more a reflection of there being alot of oil. I'm very happy with this purchase!
