Rating: - (Non) Smokin' Grill
We live in an apartment which recently banned outdoor grills so I was desperate for an alternative and this just fit the bill. It does not smoke as long as you remember to put the water in the drip pan. It is well constructed and cleans very easily which is important to me. It sears the steaks perfectly. The one very tiny issue I have is that the temperature control is not very definitive. It indicates the lowest and the highest and not any in between. This does not bother me enough not to use it and the meals have been wonderful.

I love this grill. Don't pay attention to the comments saying it takes long to heat up or smokes. It's easy to clean and I line the bottom pan where you put the water, with foil making it even easier to clean. When you wash the grill make sure to clean under it, this could be the reason some say it smokes, but it does not smoke or smell up the house. If there is a reason you want to cover the food while cooking use a large foil pan, like a turkey roasting pan. You will be so happy and never use your outside grill again. Loved the indoor grill, same good flavor as the outdoor grill without having to light it, deal with the smoke, & carry food in & out. I just put it on top of my stove and plugged it in, the range hood helped with any smoke issue. The only negative was cleaning it, my kitchen sink was not big enough to do this.

This is the second Sanyo grill that I've purchased. They BBQ the meat perfectly, and the drip pan is easy to clean afterwards. Rain or shine I know I can BBQ at a moments notice.

The Grill is great, I love it. It heats up really fast and I love the way it cooks the food evenly. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's not smokeless. You have to use it in a well ventilated area. All in all it's a great grill. It's a great grill for the price
