Amazon.com Review: Great for the kitchen, workout room, or home shop, this small digital clock/timer is useful in counting down cooking time, timing circuit training exercises, or tracking paint or wood glue drying time. No bigger than the palm of a hand, the timer is magnetized to stick to a refrigerator or stovetop or, alternatively, hangs via a clip or mounts onto a table with its wire stand. The large 0.7-inch LCD screen is easy to read and displays the current time in hours and minutes. When set for timing, the instrument displays in minutes and seconds and times up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, which is ideal for monitoring cook times on dishes that require slow cooking, such as braised meats. The timer counts either up or down and emits a beeping noise when time has elapsed, which is easily turned off by pressing the Start/Stop button. The timer runs on a single AAA battery (included), and Taylor ensures complete accuracy in its readings through a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Rating: - Neat little item
I received this some time ago and it is definitely all you could ask for at the price. Works well, buttons are easy to push. Magnet seems good although I don't usually keep mine attached anywhere, as I use it mostly for exercises.
Rating: - Just okay...
The timer works well but the alarm is way too soft and makes it hard to hear unless you carry the timer around with you. If you're in another room, you'd better keep your eye on the clock. It does a number of things for an inexpensive device, however.
Rating: - tiny timer
This tiny timmer is great. My chiropractor uses this same timer for the therpy groups at his office. It is so, easy to use. I just decided I would buy one for home to make my workouts easier there also. I love the ease of use. I have tried several different ones but, this one it the best I have found.
Rating: - Timer
This is a good timer. I was looking for a louder ring, and this wasn't nearly loud enough for me, but might be OK for people who hear well. For a louder ring and easier use ( 10 big buttons to program the time period, instead of repeatedly punching the seconds & minutes buttons)I prefer the Taylor 10-key Style Timer, also sold here. Rating: - The designer never used this timer
This compact, attractive, inexpensive timer has several flaws that make it practically unusable.
- The numbers are so tall and skinny that they're hard to read. In addition, they're recessed quite deeply into the cutout in the case, so that if you tilt the timer just a little bit up or down, the tops or bottoms of the numbers are cut off.
- There's no button for resetting the time to 0. You have to press two other buttons at once, a clunky arrangement for a function you use all the time.
- The alarm is too soft to hear from more than one room away. (I replaced ... Read More
