Product Description: Features: Fits in backpack or purse. Drink through sipping lid or brew tea with steeping lid. Transport with leak-proof lid. 12 ounce capacity.
Amazon.com Review: Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, pasta salad, or a sports drink will still be chilled. Compact (7 inches high) and shapely, this thermos has a "waist" for firm gripping indented in its satin-finish exterior and tough, nonslip, black plastic top and bottom. There's a choice of two twist tops, one for coffee and another, with a stainless steel strainer, for tea--each has a sip-hole, and a cap twists onto either to prevent spills. Fine threading ensures tops and cap seal tightly, while the smooth interior cleans with sponge or cloth. Preheating or prechilling with hot or cold water is recommended. --Fred Brack

Rating: - Tea bags welcome
It works well for tea bags or tea leaves. What's nice is that you can put boiling water into it and the temperature on the outside of the tumbler barely elevates in temperature. If you are on the go, and you are a tea drinker, just boil your water throw in a bag (don't need the infuser) or leaves (needs the infuser) and you're ready to go. It has 2 different lids: one w/ the infuser and one w/o (like a typical coffee lid) and then a cap (fits on both inserts) to seal in the heat. And in case you were wondering, it can be used equally well for coffee.
Rating: - Plastic
Just FYI, the lid, the strainer edge, and the sippy cup adaptor are made of plastic. Not a big deal for many of you, but I avoid plastics.
I wish the picture had shown the sippy cup.
I might keep it, remove the strainer and drink out of the stainless steel side without the plastic, though.
Just wanted to provide that info for people who (wisely) avoid plastics.
Rating: - Leakproof and hot, really hot.
I bought the "Liquid Solutions Tea-zer Tea Brewing Tumbler with Infuser Basket" in one of my trips and I was really in love with it. But I couldn't really rely on the "leakproof" feature. A while after, it would leak for real and I had do give up using it.
Then I found this Thermos Nissan! WOW!!! It is really leakproof. I just close and throw it inside my backpack, not caring the position I put it. In fact, my only complain is that it keeps my tea too hot for too long. But, well, this shouldn't be a problem, right? So, I'm not complaining.
Rating: - Almost perfect for tea-lovers
I purchased this item due to the number of great reviews. After using it for a few weeks I agree that it keeps things very hot for very long, has a great seal (no leaks), and is easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the mesh for straining tea is just too big, there are always various bits of tea that get through and end up at the bottom of the mug. A finer mesh would have made this item just about perfect.
Rating: - So good it will probably be discontinued
I've been beating this mug up for over a year. The mug's not as pretty as it used to be but it works just as well as the day I received it.
Buy two; you'll want to give one to someone as a gift.
