Coffee stays reasonably hot all morning long and into the afternoon, even when I don't preheat the thermos. Doesn't leak. Well-built.

I bought this Thermos so I could fill it up with water from the cooler to avoid multiple trips to the dispenser. I have only used it for cold water, but it has not disappointed as yet. Having left the flask half full on numerous occasions at my desk, I am pleased to report that the water remained cool for approximately 24 hours. Some users reported the spillage of liquid when pouring through the specially designed cap. I have not had this problem. You should not spill the contents if you tilt the bottle on a slight angle. We use a large coffee press in the morning, which provides four cups of coffee. We share the first two and the rest goes into this Thermos.
At lunchtime, I have hot coffee. Not cold, not warm, not tepid. HOT coffee! I used to buy my afternoon coffee but no more.
The Nissan thermos is compact and light enough I can take it to work whether I'm driving or riding my bike.
