I actually bought the 6" model, and bought it directly from Tom David website, which offered $4 shipping. It's excellent - large capacity, easy to load, easy to use. I'd give it five stars, but it's slippery to use if your hands are even a little wet.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE pepper and put it on pretty much everything I eat. Did I mention I really like pepper? OK, for the review of the product. I purchased this based on the reviews I read online and was not disappointed. The only thing that is a downfall is the locking mechanism for the filler is a twist and unfortunately to unlock it, it is the same way to grind. Since these two are next to each other you CAN accidentally twist open the filler locking mechanism. Rating: - Outstanding Performance, Especially For Cooking
I just got this to replace the William Bounds 8-Inch HM pepper Mill which I've had for about 7-8 years (Mine has a wooden body, but other than that is exactly like the linked one). I was overall pretty happy with that model, but starting 4 or 5 years ago I started having trouble with its grind size selection ring (see my review of that model for details). The problems worsened until I finally decided it was time to replace it.

I've been using this pepper mill for about 2 months and I love it. Throw out all your other pepper mills; even your battery-electric powered ones as well. Approximately 5 twists will yield a level teaspoon of fresh ground pepper. This thing rocks!
