We have been using these in our kitchen for a month. Solid, comfortable stools. They don't swivel too easily so the kids don't bang up the backs against the counter. This is our third set of stools in 10 years. I think these are definitely the best.

We bought three of these based on reviews here and at other sites. Not as comfortable as I would have thought based on what we read, but well-built. The back is not as curved as it appears and is quite straight against the spine. For Amazon's current price of $51.75 they are a bargain, though - I even saw them two weeks ago on this site for $39.00! Wish I had hit the price right instead of paying the $74 I did. Adequate for extra seating and for the price, but not the most comfortable.
