Rating: - Nice solution to my trash problem
I bought this product to replace a large trash can in my kitchen. I'm a household of one, and I take out the trash daily to my apartment's dumpster. I like concealing my trash under my kitchen sink, as well as recycling grocery store bags.
However, I was just barely able to fit the product onto the cabinet door (16" wide). You need to mount at least 3" from the edge of the door to be able to shut it. I only had about 1/4" of clearance for shutting the door.
It's nice idea, good enough that I'll probably buy one for my bathroom as well!

This Product is fantastic. The simplehuman cabinet mount trash system does what it promised. I should of bought this a long time ago.

I had a similar trash can that used grocery bags a few years ago. It was made out of coated wire. It was less expensive, but bent easily, was difficult to clean and didn't have the bag storage.
This simplehuman model is DELUXE. It fits in a cabinet with a 16" door, gave us an efficient place, out of sight place for the trash AND the grocery sacks. The bottom tray helps keep leaky garbage under control and supports the bags. It's easy to clean, strong, and is perfect for a tiny NYC apartment.

We've used separate trash cans and bag collectors for years. Finally a product that combines both. Very easy to install and the plastic concave shelf catches the occasional drips from some of the bags that may have small holes in them.

I've had this product for a few months now and I like it. It's nice to be able to re-use grocery bags. The black lid keeps the smell of the trash from getting out. I would recommend doubling up the grocery bags in case one of them has a small hole.
