These are great mitts for my small hands. They do not slip and even though they are not thick and bulky, they protect your hands from the heat. I had purchased these before from a local merchant and used them for a few years before one became unthreaded and the other accidentally disappeared. I felt lost without them and searched for them locally again, but couldn't find them anywhere until here at Amazon. I love the Kitchen Grips mitts/pads. I've had my set for a few years, and they still look brand new. You can handle very hot pans safely, and if something sloshes or spills onto the pads, they rinse off easily under the tap or swishing through the dish water.
