This product new is OK but,the one that i received looks like used or was in demo at some store.

I received these knives as a gift for xmas and I love them. They are beautiful and are very sharp! I have heard that they rust if not cleaned right away and dried so I am preventing this by doing so. I have heard that all good knives rust so it is not as though these are the only set that might.

I purchased a slightly larger set a few months ago and am absolutely in love with them! I originally bought Kitchenaid because I wanted to train myself on a "beginner's" set before I spent big bucks on "real" knives but don't see me replacing these anytime soon. After watching RR on the Food Network I just HAD to have the santoku knife that came with the set. I have found, however, that the chef knife has been my favorite.
