Product Description:
Combining traditional cooking with the latest technology, this versatile 7-quart slow cooker is ideal for preparing soups, casseroles, pot roasts, and curries. The unit's 400 watts of power and electronic temperature sensor deliver fast pre-heating and accurate temperature settings. A 10-hour programmable timer with three-digit digital display allows users to easily program cook times to fit their schedule. Five cooking options include auto, high, low/simmer, buffet, and keep warm, plus the unit can be set to automatically switch over to its "keep warm" setting after the cooking time has ended in order to keep food at an ideal serving temperature. The slow cooker's "ob-round" removable ceramic cooking pot provides interior quart markings that aid in adding ingredients and a flared rim for easy handling, pouring, and catching of lid condensation. Its glass lid is designed with a silicone soft seal to maintain moisture during cooking, prevent edges from chipping, and reduce noise. The slow cooker's cool-touch handles are large and simple to grip, and the housing handles are secured with three screws for extra durability and reliability. Other highlights include a three-prong round cord, four large non-slip feet, a wall standoff rear bumper, and integrated cord storage. In addition, an aluminum inner liner, with a gently curved bottom that wipes clean easily, fits flush over the u

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Cracked Crock
Hairline crack along bottom of ceramic pot after only a dozen uses. Should have checked reviews before purchase like I usually do. After reviewing other comments on this product stating kitchen aid replacements also cracked, will just take the loss and try another brand.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Horrible, Horrible Experience. 4 ceramic crocks later.
Delighted to get this beautiful product...until I used it. Craaack! What was that noise? The ceramic crock cracking during the first use. Oh, well. Just an exception to the rule. This is KitchenAid, right? The best, right? So, I wrote to the company and they sent me another ceramic crock. That cracked on the first use also. I wrote again, and they sent me a replacement appliance and a return shipping form. I sent the first slow cooker back and was delighted to have a new cooker, whose crock cracked during the first use. So, I notified the company. This time I was very upset. They replaced the ceramic ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Absolutley the Best
Best slow cooker I have ever used. This is a very high quality produt. The automatic setting with the timer is the greatist. The recipes Kitchen Aide enclosed with it are great. The first time I used it I did pulled pork in it and it came out delicious.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - So far so good...
I stumbled across my KA cooker at a local tent sale and only paid $67, which I think was the deal of the century. I didn't even need a slow cooker, but couldn't pass up the deal. I threw a 6.5 lb. pork roast in it the next day (after reading the manual, which was EASY to navigate, and well laid out) and it turned out PERFECT. This is one bad a$$ cooker, and I am glad I bought it now. The silicone seal keeps in the steam, which really helps the cooking process. Plus, it comes right off the lid, and is easy to clean. The oval shape makes pouring liquid out of it a snap, which is one feature I love, ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - More Cracked Pots
I bought a Kitchen Aid Slow Cooker KSC700 mostly based on the recommendations in the Cook's Illustrated review. Despite some of the experiences from other customers, I ordered one anyway hoping Kitchen Aid had maybe address this problem. My first one cracked on the third time, the second on the first time, all within 20-45 mins of starting. As per the reviews, I was very careful not to put in anything that was too hot/cold. Kitchen Aid was happy to replace the crock liner the first time but the second time they denied this was a problem and rather begrudgingly will send another one. I was surprised ... Read More
