Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 5+ star review!
My beautiful kitchen aid (brushed stainless steal) tea kettle! Believe me, I've owned a lot. Many were simply decorative, so I am well aware of kettles that must go hand in hand with using a kitchen mitt! Some had whistles, some didn't. I prefer this whistle, as it can be heard if someone walks out of the kitchen, forgetting they had the kettle on! It's loud, but I'd much rather it be that way. (I'm into safety...being a nurse.) This one does get a bit warm, but you can still use it comfortably and without a oven mitt if you fill the kettle about half way. I had no trouble removing the piece of ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Poor construction-Poor design
While this teapot looks great, it is poorly engineered. There is an insulator between the handle and the body. What happens when you introduce plastic into the vicinity of an open flame? You guessed it; it melts. Bad design, bad engineering, bad product.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Flaking on the inside
I have had this teapot for 3 years and did not have any problems until it was accidentally put it through the dishwasher (instructions say handwash only). Now there is some flaking of the coating on the inside of the pot. Haven't found anything on the web of whether this is hazardous but I'm worried about using with this flaking.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - tiptop teapot
what a nice little tea pot. it's red and shiny and sits on the stove. Lovely.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love orange KitchenAid
I have everything there is in the color that KitchenAid makes. I love it. My kitchen colors are orange, green and yellow. I use this tea pot to make tea about 3 or 4 times a week and it does the job - but mostly it just looks fabulous on my stove.
