Rating: - Flawed. Could have been the best.
This should have been the best blender on the market. Quiet, yet powerful. Easy to clean. Glass jug. Stable base on jug so it won't tip over. Acceptable price. One problem. It lacks power, no matter how many watts it's supposed to be. It can't handle the task if the ingredients are not thinned out first by adding lots of water. The motor burns out. (That's happened twice.) So keep your receipt (although the warranty is only one year). If you do buy one of these, be sure to put clear plastic tape (the wide kind you use for packages) over the buttons to keep liquids and powders from getting ... Read More
Rating: - umm not sure if I'm loving it.
I received it for my bridal shower. Broke it out for the july 4th weekend to make frozen watermelon margheritas. yum (frozen watermelon cubes, contreau, lime juice, tequila- much more healthy than the shakes described in the other reviews;. It did smell, but so did my new toaster, its just a new appliance smell. It DID blend the margheritas, but it left chunks of watermelon in the center. Not the worst experience, but this thing is like a tank compared to my hamilton beach blender that did the job (loud) but got it done. i wouldnt run out to buy it, but its not the worst.
Rating: - My Blender works just fine =)
I've had this blender over a year now, but have not used it excessively.
I've started using it again recently to make raw green smoothies & other raw smoothies. It works perfectly for me.
I'm not sure why some people are having trouble with the bottom falling off?? Bizarre, since the bottom twists & locks into place. I guess if you don't attach it properly in the first place, then it's your own fault that the bottom falls out. Seriously, there's no way for the bottom to come off unless you do not attach it properly. You have to push it down & twist it & you will ... Read More
Rating: - Heavy Duty, Quiet
This is a great heavy duty blender. It is also quiet as comparied to others I have owned.
Rating: - Yes Indeed: Bottom Detaches from Glass and DISASTER.
I had about a year of decent use out of this Expensive Blender. But I was *constantly* having to watch out for the bottom blade assembly detaching itself from the glass jar as I was lifting the jar/blade assembly off the motor base. The blade assembly is in a plastic housing that doesn't "lock" cleanly with the jar unless you're extra careful. Even then, you should check it to make sure the jar is seated properly. In addition to numerous "close calls," I had two major spill incidents where I lifted up the jar, it came loose from the blade assembly, and the entire contents of the jar dumped all over the ...
