Love these and use them literally every day! It doesn't bother me at all the head and handle are separate pieces because I haven't had them come apart during use at all and I have used these often. I do not put mine in the dishwasher though and perhaps that is where the problem is - maybe the heat from repeated dishwasher use causes them to contract and loosen. Personally I prefer to hand wash mine, which is not a problem since whenever I'm using them, I usually have something else I'm handwashing at the same time anyway. Rating: - Not very sturdy
I wanted spatulas with a silicone handle so I could put them in the dishwasher. The ones with wooden handles have to be handwashed, and that can be a pain. These are heat resistant and dishwasher safe, but not at all sturdy. The heads of the spatulas are too soft and bend a little too much, and they also slide off of the handles. If you're mixing a heavy cookie dough, these won't get the job done. They are fine for stirring some veggies in a non-stick skillet or for scraping cake batter out of a mixing bowl, but that's about it.
Rating: - DON'T LICK THE FROSTING OFF THESE SPATULAS
Leaves a chemical after-taste if you like to lick the frosting off the spatula. Having said that, these spatulas do work very well, don't stain and don't cost too much.

These pastel silicon spatulas are nice and are very usable, dishwasher safe and look pretty in the kitchen.

I love the different sizes and colors, of course. I use them every day. Great product and easy to clean.
