The mill has a brushed 18/10 stainless steel body with a glass window for monitoring how many peppercorns remain in the chamber. Pressing the button on top of the electric pepper mill commences grinding and pepper output. A lamp at the bottom lights up during grinding so that, even at a dimly lit dining table, you can always see how much pepper is landing on your green salad or salmon fillet. The grinder has a patented carbon steel grinding gear for long-lasting use and a dial on the underside of the mill controls the fineness of the grind (clockwise for fine and counter-clockwise for coarse).
