Amazon.com Review: The Metrokane push-button stopper works in tandem with any Metrokane Rabbit or Save-the-Wine vacuum pump to preserve the freshness of a partially-consumed bottle of wine. To use, simply insert the stopper firmly into the bottle mouth, place the vacuum on top, and pump out as much air as possible. The lack of oxygen helps keeps the wine fresh for several days, and sometimes as long as two weeks. When you're ready to pour again, push the patented button on top of the stopper and the vacuum seal is released. I haven't used the items yet, they were bought at a gift, but they arrived on time and looking good!

Great product for short time periods. Sometimes the seal does not work but I think it is a user problem. I have seen this product at Safeway now as well. I lost both of my original stoppers and had to order these, now I have both of those back for a total of six. Will be great to have all six for a party and have all pre-opened. I would not recommend leaving wine longer than five days refrigerated.
