Amazon.com: Unlike 1993's classic Honky Tonk Christmas, which was almost entirely original tunes, 10 of these 11 tracks are well-known holiday favorites. But one of the highlights of that 1993 release was Jackson's cover of Burl Ives's very familiar "Holly Jolly Christmas," which he subsequently made his own. Jackson's warm, soothing voice also works wonders here, with the arrangements doing their part to transform this into yet another yuletide classic. In fact, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is one of the most touching versions ever recorded. Be it a semi-jazzy "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," the honky-tonk piano on a rousing "Jingle Bells," a gorgeous acoustic-based "Silent Night," or "The Christmas Song" delivered with a pleasant twang, these tracks deserve perennial play. --Bill Holdship

Rating: - Excellent
"Let It Be Christmas" is an excellent album. It includes the title song, which was written by Alan Jackson. A great addition to one's Christmas Album collection.
Rating: - Best Christmas album
I just love this Christmas CD.
The title song is my favorite although every
song on this CD is great.
Rating: - "Must have" for Alan Jackson fans!
I have only recently "discovered" Alan Jackson, as I am not an avid country/western fan; but I really enjoy his voice and his phrasing. I can sing along with him easily! This particular album is a small collection of mostly popular Christmas songs--some religious, some "fun"--plus the title tune, which is his own, and which I enjoy, too. The settings for all of these tracks are simple, allowing Jackson's voice and technique to shine, and I highly recommend it to a broad audience looking for a refreshing Christmas albun!
